Food Storage Night

Tonight, (Tues. the 17th) will be our monthly Weekday Relief Society Meeting.  We will be having a food storage night.  I think it's going to be lots of fun and we'll learn a lot at the same time.  There has been a slight increase in food prices and it may continue to go up.  So with that, we thought we'd get creative and figure out a way to share ideas and recipes of food within our own food storage.  We're asking each sister if you'd like, to bring something made from what's in your food storage, pantries, or freezers right now.  This means NO going out to the store to buy something.  Let's be creative. What could you make with what you have now?  It could be anything from a dinner entree to a dessert.  It can be from a box or it can be homemade. The whole idea is for us to get ideas from each other of things we should be stocking up on or ideas of ways to use food we already have.  We would love for each sister in the ward to build up a three month food storage supply.  We will also talk this night on how to do that.  If you have ideas, please come ready to share them.  Hopefully this will be a fun, insightful night and a great turn out!
